January 2009: Paper for All increased its reach from 2 to 4 schools

For the first time, Paper4All reached four schools for the first time, thereby continuing to increase its reach:
  • Cité de l’Avenir (670 pupils) : 200 notebooks of 100 pages,  50 notebooks of 200 pages, 100 pens, 108 pencils, 12 boxes of chalk, 15 academy kits (rulers, etc.)
  • Trame d’Accueil A (880 pupils): 200 notebooks of 100 pages,  50 notebooks of 200 pages, 100 pens, 108 pencils, 12 boxes of chalk, 15 academy kits (rulers, etc.)
  • Trame d’Accueil B (500 pupils): 200 notebooks of 100 pages,  50 notebooks of 200 pages, 150 pens, 108 pencils, 12 boxes of chalk, 20 academy kits (rulers, etc.)
  • Yaaka (150 pupils)200 notebooks of 100 pages,  50 notebooks of 200 pages, 100 pens, 108 pencils, 12 boxes of chalk

The two new schools are Trame d’Accueil A and B, about 1400 pupils total. For this action, 450 notebooks were given to the Ecole de la Cité, 150 to the Yakaa school, 300 to Trame A and 300 to Trame B. The actions took several days to realise. The notebooks and pens were always given to the neediest children.
